For those of you who have rescued an animal from a shelter of some kind before, you will know that the first few months can be a delicate time. Benji came to me as a very nervous, shy, damaged little guy, unable to interact with other humans or dogs.
It gives me such joy to see the friendly excitable little fellow he has become. As he bounds across the beach or watches on, grinning slightly, as i brave it and swim in the pacific ocean, I feel truly grateful for the chance to improve the life of an animal in some way.
I cannot recommend rescuing an animal more strongly! It will change your life as well as theirs!
